The Transit Time Calculator and LTL Rate Quote Tools have been updated to include destinations to Hawaii and the Pacific Islands. The Transit Time Calculator looks at the shipping date and provides back a transit time in which also includes the sailing schedule. Rate quotes will include all specialized services selected and also apply the customer discount for the mainland portion when logged in with a MY RRTS account.

Roadrunner Transportation Services is pleased to announce an expanded service offering to the northeast states from its St. Louis and Indianapolis terminals. Shipments from these terminals will now have a 2-3 day transit time (based on day of the week shipped). Transit Time based on day of the week has been integrated into the online RRTS tools. Now, when rating or tracking a shipment you'll get a more precise transit time based on your ship date. Many terminals can offer a faster transit time when shipping on specific days - see the Terminal Maps.

Quick Pickup confirmation emails were updated to now also include - pickup date, destination zip code, weight, pieces, and container type. This will allow for easier tracking when mulitple pickups have been requested.

The Quick Pickup web service was also developed. Now you can intergrate pickups requests with your own system and third parties can automatically submit a BOL. The LTL rating page was redesigned to produce faster, more accurate rates. Zip code destinations that could produce an Item 301 charge from the rules tariff will now prompt the user with a list of cities to choose from. Based on the user's selection, item 301 charges will be detailed in the quote and added into the total charges if applicable.

Using Adobe's Flash technology, RRTS transit time maps are now interactive. As you move your mouse across the map, state specific transit times will appear. Try it out for yourself by picking a terminal from the RRTS terminal list.
